Yes, melina Depends on gcc43 and will perhaps Depend on gcc44 in the future (once I have had the time to make tests). It needs at runtime the same version of gfortran with which it was built itself, and I don't know how to ensure this without usng the Depends: field. I am normally opposed to putting all runtime requirements into the Depends: field. The users can be asked to install some packages themselves if they want to have the corresponding functionality.
