just tabling another option - a short term workaround (assuming this problem is not currently prevalent) could be to have fink-virtual-pkgs emit a warning to stderr when it encounters an incompatible version string, and omit dumping dependency data for the offending pkg ... or something similar i guess Ed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
