This is in theory fixed on 10.7 (rev -4).  If you copy this file

http://fink.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/fink/dists/10.7/stable/main/finkinfo/sci/sextractor.info?revision=1.1

to /sw/fink/dists/10.4/unstable/main/finkinfo/sci (overwriting the 
current sextractor.info), does it work as expected?  In my tests I had 
to copy the conf files to the same dir as the image file, but I had 
never used sextractor before then, so there might have been something 
else I missed.
