and the TeX executables are found in an unmodified Fink tree.
You appear to relying on local modifications to your Fink tree to find
a TeXLive version which was installed by other means than Fink, and
that isn't supported by the project. We don't support interfacing
with arbitrary third-party installs of other packages in part because
it becomes too difficult to provide reproducibility.
Also, if you modified your user account's PATH to point to your TeX
installation, Fink ignores that, deliberately.
