Hi and thank you for the answer. When I look into the folder /usr I can only see an X11 folder but no X11R6. Is that the problem?

Let's look at the simplest options first: 1) Do you have a symbolic link /usr/X11R6 that points to /usr/X11 ? fink looks in /usr/X11R6 for the X11 installation, and normally that symlink has been present (provided by Apple) to provide backward compatibility for older software. 2) If that symbolic link is present, then please run fink-virtual-pkgs --debug 2>&1 | grep -A30 libX11 and post the results back here. - -- Alexander Hansen, Ph.D. Fink User Liaison http://finkakh.wordpress.com/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk8ycEsACgkQB8UpO3rKjQ8TQgCgpFPDw2qczEPE88I8rmB1Zs2d VWEAniGuf6vj1MjtOEl8R2uVk0muR8ea =ABfi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Keep Your Developer Skills Current with LearnDevNow!
