Yes, but it involves changing the common-beanutils package description file.

However, your problem has NOTHING to do with JAVA_HOME.  I told you that
I am able to install the package on essentially the same configuration
as you have, *including* seeing the JAVA_HOME messages.

And, again, I asked you _not_ to send me messages offlist about this,
and particularly when you ARE NOT RESPONDING TO MY SPECIFIC SUGGESTION:
