There's another option, which is to install fink-0.33.2.  It should be
available to you shortly via "fink selfupdate".  It fixes the JAVA_HOME
detector to use a mechanism that works on all of our supported OS X
versions.

Notes:

(1)  There's no override via setting JAVA_HOME in the external
environment (including Fink Commander).  A package can explicitly
override the default, but this has to be spelled out.

(2)  I expect that this isn't going to fix your problem.  Your problem
appears to me to be an issue with your CLASSPATH, and if you don't have
your Fink environment set up correctly, e.g. by running
"/sw/bin/pathsetup.sh" then any jars that packages install won't
automatically get registered in the CLASSPATH.

The JAVA_HOME problem needed fixing, in any case.
