This is the dependency chain: debianutils BD-> po4a -> BD-> docbook-utils D-> jadetex, which is provided by texlive. po4a is the real culprit here. It's dependency list is just too heavy. DescDetail says that it comes with 9 modules. Are these modules all needed for debianutils? Can they be moved off into a separate package (NOT a SplitOff), and then only have debianutils use the basic library? Or can debianutils not use po4a at all?
