Hi,

At first there is no error message at all for example, the fink install
script is sitting at:

sudo -u fink-bld [ENV] sh -c /tmp/fink.pJnli
/sw/bin/tar --no-same-owner --no-same-permissions -xvf
/sw/src/mc-4.8.1.3.tar.xz

When I break this with ctrl+c, I can find the error message:

### execution of /tmp/fink.pJnli failed, exit code 2
Removing runtime build-lock...
Removing build-lock package...
/sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -r fink-buildlock-mc-4.8.1.3-1
(Reading database ... 28764 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing fink-buildlock-mc-4.8.1.3-1 ...
Failed: phase unpacking 'mc-4.8.1.3.tar.xz': mc-4.8.1.3-1 failed

Regards,
Robert
