Two issues: 1) There's a bug in fink right now that affects generation of app bundles. You can work around it pending the next release by downloading a new copy of PkgVersion.pm from https://raw.github.com/fink/fink/master/perlmod/Fink/PkgVersion.pm Copy that into /sw/lib/perl5/Fink. 2) I make no warranty that wxmaxima-gtk will run reliably. It worked great at one point, and then switched to working only after a lot of restarts, and now I haven't actually been able to get it to run.
