Hello, On my old box running OS X 10.7 updating openmotif4 fails as follows:
libtool: compile: gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../../include -I.. -I./.. -DXMBINDDIR_FALLBACK=\"/opt/sw/lib/X11/bindings\" -DINCDIR=\"/opt/sw/include/X11\" -DLIBDIR=\"/opt/sw/lib/X11\" -I/opt/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -DXNO_MTSAFE_STRINGAPI -DXNO_MTSAFE_PWDAPI -DXNO_MTSAFE_TIMEAPI -Wall -g -fno-strict-aliasing -Wno-unused -Wno-comment -I/opt/sw/include -I/opt/sw/include -I/opt/sw/include/freetype2 -I/usr/X11/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/opt/sw/include -I/opt/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/opt/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/opt/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -MT Label.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/Label.Tpo -c Label.c -fno-common -DPIC -o .libs/Label.o In file included from Label.c:82: In file included from ./XmRenderTI.h:33: In file included from /opt/sw/include/X11/Xft/Xft.h:39: /usr/X11R6/include/ft2build.h:56:10: fatal error: 'freetype/config/ftheader.h' file not found #include <freetype/config/ftheader.h> ^ 1 error generated. Comparing this machine with a more contemporary one (running OS X 10.10) I notice that /usr/X11R6/include/ft2build.h does not exist on the new machine. Sure enough renaming it out of the way on the old machine results in the build process completing just fine. This all being said, I somehow doubt that this is the proper fix. Advice is therefore appreciated. Many thanks!
