Older versions of the package needed gcc49 because apple-clang was too old, but I removed that during a KDE update that happened around the same time I upgraded to 10.9, which has a good enough apple-clang. So I never got to see the 10.7 failure w/out gcc49 on 10.7. I'll try to fix that tonight, but I don't have a 10.7 system to make sure it really works.
