Hi Adam:
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried adding a profile using the Mac
version of AOL AIM. I still have the same hang-trying-to-connect
problem with fire. The interesting thing is that the mac version of AIM
uses "johnkheit" in the "edit profile" panel (and the popup of the name
is not selectable) as my name when it is "John Kheit" and so I changed
my screen name to match ("johnkheit"), but still no go.
