Just wanted to say thanks to all the developer type people:
I decided to kick through the AIM-proper client to set up my server-side
buddy lists, and the program was so very jarring...
Thanks to all the Fire folks, both for letting me use Yahoo! chat every
once in a long while when it's useful for me, and for letting me use AIM
without inducing terminal aesthetic shock.
Let alone the option to encrypt chat sessions :)
Great job.
*just tried something*
Y'know, it'd be really cool if you could create a second AIM (and the
others, too) services account, not to log in doubly, but for those
(many?) of us who have more than one screen name on a particular
service. Currently, as I just tried, you can only create one account for
each service. (yes, I do have a slight ulterior motive of skooching
forward the multiply-logged-in agenda item)
Slan,
Liam
