I think that Eric is currently working hard at
implementing the new lib., which he does have in his
possession.
As for new features, there aren't many, though it does
support the full MSNP2 feature set (this is the same
as the old library). However, features which didn't
work in the old library, work with this one, including
-
Proper mail notification
The ability to change Friendlynames
Notification when the other user is typing.
The new library is now fully asyncronous, so chat
problems "should" have been eliminated, and any
problems that do crop up, shouldn't crash Fire, or
destroy the MSN connection.
