I can share a thought that may or may not be related.  I'm finding that
people that I have blocked are still able to see me and type to me.

Likewise I can see them when they're online.

Now I suspect the latter is by design, but the former is certainly not
desirable.  If I block someone I don't want them to be able to see me
online.

Don't konw if it's a related problem to the idle issue you've raised here,
but if anyone's got any ideas on this one, I'd certainly be interested to
hear them.
