Several months ago, there was discussion here regarding an article by Sorenson & Vittes, in Injury Prevention, alleging that large numbers of gun dealers will willing to make unlawful sales. The discussion, as I recall, included the issue of whether the dealers really had agreed to make unlawful sales. The September issue (which just arrived; the mail from Britain may be slow) has a "correction" for that article. It doesn't deal with the substance, but with the failure to include the acknowledgements. Thanked for their "legal research" for the article are: Jeff Sinek of Thelen, Reid & Priest, LLP, and Eric Gorovitz of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence. Perhaps they could have done better.
