As this message is going out, we are uploading partial collections of the
U.S. Statutes at Large for the years 1995 (Vol. 109) through 2004 (Vol.
118), linked from http://www.constitution.org/uslaw/sal/sal.htm , and of the
U.S. Code of 1926, linked from http://www.constitution.org/uslaw/usc/usc.htm .

Since the upload will take several hours at current bandwidth (which we hope
to increase soon), I thought I would let recipients know about it now.

The formats are PDF character-over-image so they are searchable. However,
each volume is a separate file and they are huge. You might want to download
them using a fast broadband connection before trying to read them.

As an exercise it can be interesting to see how much has changed in U.S. law
since 1926, and to review each of the enactments for constitutionality.

The files were contributed by lawyer Larry Becraft, and are offered to the
world wide web as a public service at no charge.
