Hi,

now it is clear for me (my English is bad so i miss concept from first post)
Your design is good and concept very interest also but
I look at this and see something what i have 3 years ago not same but “near”. 
And i know that changing design from previous 10 years of working sometimes 
good working design is difficult
but sometimes its better then making some changes to it.

I change in some company old mixed file based + bde based + query AD design
but they accept my solution and now it process centralized point with 
17,000,000 new data into Firebird db per day.

But choice is yours, maybe some of fb team developer could help you enough good 
luck
