I speak only from rails/django perspective , If i open a embedded database (sqllite/firebird) in my home i expect user and group for the file to be me : mariuz.mariuz no need to be in firebird group and no need to access security2.fdb (no need for passwords)
So the question is can we run as current user/group in embedded mode ? ps: server behavior as described by Alex is correct On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 8:31 AM, Alex Peshkoff <peshk...@mail.ru> wrote: > On 03/25/14 18:13, Tony Whyman wrote: >> Talk of libfbembed has reminded me of a problem I have been having with >> the debian/ubuntu builds for Firebird 2.5.
