   COM in core is a binary specification for VMT. That's all.
   The rest is just extensions for "using anything from anywhere". In our case 
they are 
not needed and can be ignored.
   VMT produced by GCC on Linux match this specification. VMT produced by FPC 
for 
interfaces (not objects) also match this specification.
   So, the conclusion is: yes, COM is supported on Linux.
