I think this is rather insensitive and tone-deaf. Using
primary/secondary or primary/replica is normally accepted practice in
most projects, and has been for years. This not something new.
Your position sounds more like wanting to be contrarian and without care
if it could hurt the public perception of the Firebird project. Changing
one exclusionary terminology for another - accepted - inclusive
terminology won't hurt you.
