I use a Lindsay pressure feed sandblaster that works great. I don't
 know
if they are even still made or sold. It it a commercial type blaster. I

have a five or six hp two stage compressor and two large compressed air

holding tanks, probably 60 to 80 gallons each. One came with the
compressor, one is separate. I start out with 90 psi at the sandblaster

and it will dwindle down to about 50 or 60 sustainable until the batch
 of
sand runs out. Then I let the air system recharge when I reload the
 sand.
Also, it is essential to trap as much moisture as possible before the
 air
goes into the blaster.

I will never, ever blast large body panels again. They will warp, I
don't care how hard you try to avoid it. I replaced an otherwise good
 hood
and deck lid, and made a lot of work for myself in other places on the
body. Sandblasting is great for the subframe, rockers, firewall,
undercarriage and trunk, for spot repairs on sheet metal and to prep
 areas
to be welded.

My original message got bounced back for length, so I am going to try and send
it in two parts.
