Thanks Ronnie and NHRA
I can see the advantages to the water base, because it supposedly does not
have the EPA problems like the other car paints. I assume that I could paint
my car without problems with my neighbors or the local authority. I
understand from my local car paint company that California is already having to
paint with the water base.I live in an area that would make drying a problem in
the winter, but I did drywall work for years and we had to evacuate moisture
all the time. We cracked the windows in the house about 1 inch and ran the
heat up. It worked very good. I still am going to do my base primer in
epoxy. Any future info from you FGF guys on this subject would be
appreciated.
