Hey Brett--
We are doing well. Reese is 16 months now and really
doing well. William is 5 and in school.
The Bird--I have replaced the hood pad, had a correct
alternator restored by John Pirkle (really nice),
replaced the radiator cap, removed the "mud flaps",
removed the paint from the brake booster and removed
the paint from most of the fender bolts. It is
looking better--took a first at a AACA show in my
class, but still don't have a correct washer pump on
it--little time to work on it. I drove my wife crazy
working on the engine compartment 3 nights in a row
til 11:00 before that show. She is just starting to
see that side of me since I have not been to too many
shows in the last 11 years.
She has said, "I thought I married a sophisticated
business man, but what I actually got was a redneck
fisherman with musclecars." I said, "Isn't that a
relief?" I like to fish at the beach--but so does
she.
The last fender bolts to clean/clear coat (as I do it)
were the fender bolts to the firewall and having a
time getting them back in. I may have to get some
asistance with them. The others went like clockwork
one at a time.
The GTO's radiator leaked, had it fixed and doing some
repainting of the bottom of the radiator support,
painting the balancer, etc--things that I cannot reach
well with the radiator/fan/shroud in place.
The kids are not babies now. They are growing fast.
