The 428 works better with a stick.  If the block has the crank build the
428.

428 4.120 bore stroke 4.00
455 4.151 bore stroke 4.21

you can buy std 455 pistons and bore the 428 0.030 over

Is it possible to bore a 428 block large enough and
install a 455 crankshaft to produce a 462 engine.
there is one for sale on crag's list and I was
wondering how this was done.  Seems a bit of an over
bore.
