Peter,
I removed the original material. Mine was bad.
I got some plastic material from Classic Industries. It looks
like licorice.
I attached it to the steel bow with epoxy. It works really well so far.
Better
than the original paper/leather/wood material.

The spring is get closer here in Sweden so im in
progress replace my convertible top.
I have take it off when I notice the convertible bows
is rust on so I have take that off the car and will
sandblast it.
The top is staple a lots in some kind of material..i
have take that away but what is the material made of?
Some kind of tree or what? It falls apart so I my put
in new.
Also someone have any tip when I install the new
convertible top I would appricate that…I read some at
the FAQ:s
