First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Ryan, are you sure it is the driveshaft and not a rim? Gets your tires balanced.
I have never heard of offset ujoint , logically thinking if it was offset to one side it would cause a vibration. Did you watch the guy balance the drive line? How long has this been going on? what was the last thing you did before the vibration started? Can ya see where I am going with this? HAve there been new perches welded on? Just Smile... It makes people wonder what you have been up too... http://www.dingdongtx.org/wapa/fb.htm http://firstgenfirebird.org/show/closeup.mv?CarID=53 Thanks, Kevin "In God We Trust" I am investigating an excessive vibration from my new driveshaft that only appears at certain speeds (shaft has been balanced twice!) and I remember hearing something on this list about the u-joins being slightly offset from the factory in 69 to correct a vibration issue. --snip-- ____________________________________________________________________________________ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
