I have a 69 convertible with factory 8 track. The option sheet lists an am/fm
as the origional radio. My car currently has a 69 firebird AM radio so I
imagine it was replaced at one time with what they could find. The 8 track
plays properly through the kick panel speakers and the radio plays through the
single dash speaker. There is no other wiring for rear speakers so I think the
am/fm my car came with was the mono not the stereo version. I see a part
number for an am/fm radio (92FFP1)on the FAQ list but it doesnt state whether
this is for the stereo or mono am/fm. I would like to know the part number for
the am/fm mono version. If anyone is aware of the Part number I would be
grateful.
