I just did mine. First I just did the driver seat with new foam, when I saw
the difference it made, I bought new springs for the passenger seat as well,
Big-big difference from the old, well worth it. No welding required.

Hi guys -

I'm installing new seat covers in my 68 (custom interior). All the vendors
sell side springs and seat bottom springs for the front buckets. Should I
assume mine are ok if they aren't broken? Of course the seats feel squished

down, but that may be the foam more than anything. Or should I replace the
springs just because I have the opportunity to? Is there welding involved
with replacing the side or bottom springs?

Thanks.

Doug
