Just to add my .08 [<- inflation..]
I've been on the list for 9-10 years too and the downside is I've seen the same
questions come up numerous times. On a forum common topics are pinned and are
easily searchable.
On the list I do like the ability to quickly scan the topics to see if anything
catches my eye.
However I suppose one can just view "new posts" on a forum. I may need to
migrate to the forums/board....
