I was amazed at getting 14 mpg at times (when we didn't have to climb hills) on a 1500 mile trip we took with about 50 other classic cars in my 69 Bonneville ambulance with a 400 in it. It has to weigh a good 5000 lbs if not more and it's 21 feet long!
