First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Hi Jim,
I just replaced the dash harness in my 69. The old one was all hacked up and was beginning to get heat building up in it when in use. Obviously a short. I got mine from M&H Electric fabricators out of California. Same company that provides many of the supply houses. Very nice product. All correct colors and connectors. It was a fair amount of work but completely worth it in my opinion. If you have a service manual for your car or at least a wiring diagram that is always helpful. I think one of the guys has the diagrams posted somewhere. Electrical fires are not fun. Good luck, Wayne 69 convertible First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ........................................................................ . Is it very common that it's worth the money to buy a new wiring harness? I'm thinking about one for under the dash that's $380. One of the former owners of my car seems to have turned the wiring into a birds nest. It's probably repairable but interested in any feedback. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> Donations: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store/cart.mv?999999> FGF Merchandise: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store>
