Thanks for all the photos. Agreed, very difficult to tell how far they were cut back. I made sure mine were cut right to the sharp bend on the bow. Except for the center bow, which is different and I didn't cut at all since this one does not get inserted into the roof side rail supports (or whatever they're called). I have to wonder if the 1" is supposed to be measured from the bend, i.e. I need to cut them back another inch. Hmmm?
