I used Dependable Auto Shippers for shipping my Subaru WRX from Memphis to the Boston area. They worked with me really closely to make sure that everything was done just they way I wanted it to be done. All said and done it was about $680 and there was great communication all through the transit. It did take a little while but they were great. They looked over the car closely before and after to make sure that nothing was damaged. They were very careful. Overall I was very satisfied with the whole experience. One thing to know, my price was from terminal to terminal.

I've only shipped my old pickup truck several years back, and security wasn't such a concern as price. Just poking around on the Internet I've found a wide variation in prices (some for $600, some for several thousand). Have any of you done this? How was the experience and cost? And do any of you have a recommendation or advice? I'm still a 5-8 weeks away from shipping it. - kenny
