Hmmm, I don't see any studs there other than the water pump being missing.

Is there anything that is suppose to be bolted on to the timing
chain cover studs? My SS bolt kit just has regular hex heads. I
don't recall anything being bolted to these studs but my originals
are studs and seeing Tom's pics reminded me of this question.
