I discovered tonight that my #3 and # 4 rod bolts/nuts are hitting the windage 
tray. My block is a 72' casting 400 and I'm using an Ohio 455 "stroker" crank. 
I took a look at some catalogs and it seems to indicate there is no difference 
between 400 and 455 oil baffle. Is this the case? Did anyone run into the same 
problem? Kevin? 
 
I'm thinking all I need to do is add a washer between tray and main caps on 
each of the 4 bolts to get the clearance. Does this sound reasonable?
