I discovered tonight that my #3 and # 4 rod bolts/nuts are hitting the windage tray. My block is a 72' casting 400 and I'm using an Ohio 455 "stroker" crank. I took a look at some catalogs and it seems to indicate there is no difference between 400 and 455 oil baffle. Is this the case? Did anyone run into the same problem? Kevin? I'm thinking all I need to do is add a washer between tray and main caps on each of the 4 bolts to get the clearance. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks, Sheen _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default.aspx?locale=en-us&source=wlmailtagline ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> Donations: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store/cart.mv?999999> FGF Merchandise: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/store>
