I turned the crank and the whole transmission started turning so I know the 
trans shaft is sitting in clutch. I used the plastic alignment tool that came 
with the clutch kit. I don't know how I could disengage the clutch since the 
motor is not in the car. 
 
I think I might pull the pilot bearing to see if the ID is too small for my 
trans shaft. I'm installing a Tremec 500R.
