First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... While my 69 is apart I was going to pull the power steering box and have it rebuilt. I've seen messages from people saying the newer boxes are much better. I'm wondering if I should buy a 92 IROC box and have that rebuilt instead. I understand it's a direct bolt on. Will the hose ends need to be changed? When I talked to the local PS box re-builder about putting an IROC box on my S-10 he said they would have to redo the internal stops inside the box or I would not be able to turn the wheels all the way to the frame stops and the turning circle would be much bigger.
