First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Raise the window. Unscrew the lock mechanism from the door jamb. Push it inside the door. Place a flash light at the bottom inside the door. Now you can see what you are doing. You will no doubt find a small broken spring. Have fun. It's not as complicated as it may seem. To good thing is that as you have the mechanism apart, you may want to replace a few other worn items.
