For the 455 conversion, you simply bore a 400 block 30 over (actually to 4.151,
which is 31 over), use a 4.21 stroke crank (std 455 stroke) w/3" mains for a
400 block and you have 455 ci. I used an Ohio crankshaft for my conversion.

You can buy 60 over pistons for a 455. To fit these into a 400 block, you would
have to bore to 4.210, which is 90 over relative to a stock 4.120 block. I
don't know if the 455 and 400 blocks have different sleeve OD's. If they are
the same, you could go up to "90" over but would have to convert to a 455
stroker crank or buy custom pistons. I would be curious to know if the sleeve
OD's are the same.
