I have an extra 6x head so I sat it up on its exhaust ports and poured some water into the rectangular hole to see if water came pouring out somewhere else. No water but it bubbled about every minute for a half hour, which lead me to beleive it was slowly draining into somewhere. The next day, I topped it off with water again and watched to see if it bubbled. No more bubbles and the water level has not dropped. Very strange that it would have bubbled in the first place. Too much time in the garage!
