Ed, There are two "96" heads. - '68 RA-II, 71 cc - '71 , 96cc The '68 would be much better for your 400, and the '71 would be better for a 455. But the '71 "96" could be run on a 400 and use 87 octane pump gas all day long, and not have to run premium. How much were you quoted?
