GM also announced earlier this week that they were dropping their sponsorship with Tiger Woods to save millions of dollars. They were scheduled to drop that sponsorship in 2010 but moved it up to the start of 2009. I'd hate to see GM drop the Pontiac line even though much of the Pontiac "Excitement" has disappeared. What do you think it would do to the value of our cars? The NHRA Pro Stock class sure would change. It's nice to see those Pontiacs on the drag strip. Nothing. The elderly love Buicks, Chevy has the 'vette and the trucks... heck even the cobalt is supercharged...and they have to keep the luxury line... even though Cadillac is now passé.
