Economy (Scion) Bread and Butter (Toyota and Toyota Trucks) and Luxury (Lexus). You could position GM with Saturn, Chevy and Chevy Trucks, Cadillac. Buick, Pontiac, and all the other foreign car companies GM owns should go bye-bye. I hate to see Pontiac go, but they make nothing I would buy, even Saturn's version of the Solstice and G6 look better. All the years of ignorance is starting to catch up with them. My uncle was on the firebird, Vega, van line at lordstown starting in 1970 and back then, they were already in "react" mode as oppose to being "proactive" with quality. We'll see.

Some good points made... - I agree, GM doesn't need 2 truck lines. Unless it was for marketing, I never understood the reasoning behind the 2 brands. - The die-hard GTO fans had an issue with accepting a plagiarized foreign design. And, the new G8 GXP is just another imported Holden design. This is GM's attempt at saving money.
