61" seems about right but might be a little short for the route I mapped the
other night. Anyway, I bought a 6' one from Kragen's. 4-Guage was the best they
had. Anybody know what the original cable guage was?

I have an AAW Classic Update wiring kit so I don't need the smaller wire to run
all the way back to the fuse box bulk head. With the kit, there is a hot lead
that goes from the bulk head directly to the starter + bat post. The cable I
got from Kragen does have a lead but it's only about 6". I will probalby use
this to feed my new headlamps...through relays of course.

Thanks,

starter. It should also have the smaller 22" wire on it to get to the block on
the firewall. A cloth loom is available separately to protect a portion of it,
I suppose from heat and wear/abrasion. > > Jim 400HO Convert>
