I have been doing some measureing several 10 and 12 bolt rearends lately,having found a few for my cars..anyone else have some out that's easy to measure/? I found a spare 67 bird 8.2 10 bolt rearend measures 54 3/8" between drums,and 61 1/4 outside drum to outside drum. a 68 bird 8.2 10 bolt posi rearend from a car I parted years ago measures 54 1/2" between,and 61 outside..All measurements are by myself,and there is a small variance.. a 73 nova 8.5" 10 bolt measures 53 1/4 between,60 1/8 outside of drums. a 69 Z28 camaro 12 bolt measures 53 1/4 between, 60 1/8 outside.. and a 68 camaro 12 bolt measures 54 3/8 between and 61 1/8 outside...I know they'll all bolt in and fit,but it looks like there's 2 different lengths if you wanted to play with widths for tire width?? **************Access 350+ FREE radio stations anytime from anywhere on the web.
