I also get water in thru the cowl/firewall areal. Any tips from anyone on solving that issue?

My left rear window leaks too. All the f bodies have this problem over time.

Eric,

There are no drains for the window channel. Debris collects in there over time and retains water. Rust in that area is common, and since you now have water in the trunk, the channel has likely rusted through. If that's what happened, there are stop-gap measures you can take to keep water out (POR, caulk, etc.), but the only long- term fix is to braze shut small holes and cut out and replace badly rusted areas.

Other common leak areas are the tail lamp seals, the license plate lamp wire grommet and a rear-mount antenna, but the wet areas may differ with those sources.

Is this supposed to be this way? Is there a different drain route? The water has to go somewhere or it would
just collect under the trim and rust the rear cowl out....
Really tired of water dripping into the trunk...
Thanks
