First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Too late for me to change my mind now. The turd is already buttoned up inside my motor. ;-) I have heard the RAIV is great for 400's but that the additional cubes makes it milder in a 455. what do you like for a 455? I saw the XE274 mentioned a few times in 455 recipes in Jim Hand's book and he comments well on it except it being a rougher idle (which I like) so that was why I went with it. What cams have the rest of the forum members used in any 455's? good, bad, or ugly.

I hate to say, I used the XE 274 in my last 400 and it was a turd. Used a 4 speed and 3.90's The RA IV is a MUCH better cam. Lots of mid range and tough idle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/> Checked by AVG - www.avg.com Version: 8.5.387 / Virus Database: 270.13.23/2254 - Release Date: 07/22/09 05:59:00 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
