I just purchased a 1970, 350 motor with 1973-74 # 46 large valve, screw in?stud heads that were designed 1974 GTO 350, motor.??????? The #46?are rated at 7.6 cr with 89 cc when applied to the 1974, 350.?????The 1970 GTO 455 motor with large valve #64 heads were 87cc.???? My question, does anyone know whether or not these #46 heads can be used on a 400 or 455 blocks effectively.???? Can the #46 heads be used effectively on a 350 block with a blower set up, seeing as how the c.r. is only 7.6. Not sure if the?#46?heads were used in any other application other than the 1974 GTO.
